The Association for Spanish Language Advancement in Nigeria (Slang Global) is thrilled to announce the launch of its groundbreaking initiative, the MASK-WE Project. This program is designed to empower young women in southeastern Nigeria by providing them with the skills and resources they need to thrive in the business world.

What is the MASK-WE Project?

The MASK-WE Project is a unique training program that combines artistic expression with entrepreneurial development. Participants will learn how to create beautifully painted wooden masks, fusing traditional Nigerian styles with the vibrant colors of Mexican alebrije art.

Why is this project important?

In southeastern Nigeria, women often face limited economic opportunities and social barriers. The MASK-WE Project aims to challenge these limitations by empowering women to become successful entrepreneurs and agents of change in their communities.

How does the project work?

Through a series of workshops and training sessions, participants will gain valuable skills in art, business management, and marketing. They will also have the opportunity to connect with mentors and build a supportive network of like-minded women.

How can you get involved?

We invite you to visit our website at www.slangglobal.org/maskweproject to learn more about the MASK-WE Project and how you can support this transformative initiative. Together, we can empower women in southeastern Nigeria to create a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
